DevAssure provides a powerful, user-friendly interface for mobile app test automation, enabling teams to execute tests seamlessly across devices with minimal setup, thereby scaling mobile testing efforts effortlessly.

In this guide, you’ll learn how to automate tests for android apps in DevAssure. From creating a new mobile test, selecting a device, choosing a native mobile app for testing, locating the elements, connecting to a device cloud (such as BrowserStack), and running the test this tutorial will walk you through each step.

Enable Mobile Automation​

You can enable Mobile Automation for your project directly from the DevAssure Web Portal

Follow the steps below:

  • Log in to the DevAssure Web Portal and go to the list of available projects.

  • Locate the project for which you want to enable Mobile automation.

  • Click on the Edit (pencil) icon to open the Edit Project dialog.

  • In the Automations to be included section, select Mobile

  • Click Save to update the project configuration.

  • The selected automation types will now be visible in the project list.
